Namal Rajapaksa sets conditions for SLPP’s Presidential candidate
Namal Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), has said that if the party nominates a presidential candidate, it will be someone who can uphold and advance the SLPP’s policies.
Rajapaksa emphasized that the SLPP will not form alliances with individuals who seek the party’s support solely for votes and then break away.
He further stated that any faction within the President’s camp that believes it cannot win with the SLPP should leave the party.
