The 7th Grade qualified Finance Minister – Wijayadasa
The reason some say the Minister of Finance has seven brains is probably because he only passed the 7th standard, said SLPP-MP Wijayadasa Rajapaksa.
However, he said that it is not enough to uplift a country, adding that he should be at least qualified enough to have 16 brains.
He said this addressing the media following a function in Pannipitiya.
He added that in the upcoming weeks, the government will not be able to supply even the most essential food items.
Wijayadasa added that after two or three weeks, foreign reserves would fall to zero, leading to famine and unrest in the country
