The buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped below Rs. 300 mark today, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka reported.

Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 302.42 to Rs. 299.21.

The Central Bank said the selling rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 316.18 to Rs. 312.37.

The Sri Lankan Rupee has also significantly appreciated against other foreign currencies. (NewsWire)
