What’s the stink in Sapugaskanda?
Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Ananda Ganepola said that he has called for a report from the Central Environment Authority regarding the stinking smell wafting from the areas surrounding the Sapugaskanda Crude Oil Refinery.
He has taken this action after complaints from the residents of the area, who had stated that this has been occurring for the past few days.
Ganepola further stated that the health authorities too have been notified in this regard.
