RDA again orders to Kimbulawala Street Food vendors to evict
The Road Development Authority (RDA) has yet again ordered the Street Food vendors at Kimbulawala area along the Kotte – Thalawathugoda Road, to evict the premises within 14 days.
The RDA says that the decision was taken as the stalls have continued to hinder traffic and they were getting daily complaints of road mishaps.
They also allege certain stalls have also erected two-level stalls.
Earlier, a similar decision was imposed after a politician had allegedly got caught in the traffic in the area. However, the decision was later suspended.
