Sri Lanka Sports Fiesta T-10 Cricket from tomorrow
Niroshan Dikwella (Kandy) Bhanuka Rajapaksa (Dambulla), Janith Liyanage ( Jaffna), Charith Asalanka (Colombo) and Dunith Wellalage (Galle) will lead the sides at the T-10 cricket tournament which will be played from August 16 to 18 at Thurstan grounds and Bloomfield grounds.
Sri Lanka Cricket is gearing up for an exciting sporting extravaganza with the much-anticipated “Sri Lanka Sports Fiesta 2024” with this T-10 Cricket Tournament. This event, powered by Dialog, promises a grand celebration of sports and entertainment, bringing together cricket enthusiasts from all over the country.
The T- 10 Cricket series will feature five teams representing different regions of Sri Lanka, Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Dambulla and Jaffna. Each team is comprised talented players who performed well at the recently concluded domestic tournaments.
The opening fixture between Kandy and Jaffna will be played on August 16 at Thurstan grounds from 9.30 am to 11.10 am while same time Galle will meet Dambulla at Bloomfield grounds. In the evening from 1.30 pm Kandy will meet Galle at Bloomfield grounds while Jaffna will meet Colombo at Thurstan grounds.
The final day (18) will feature the two top teams clashing to claim the championship title at the Bloomfield grounds from 2.40 pm.
Beyond the cricket, the Sri Lanka Sports Fiesta 2024 is designed to be a festival of entertainment, with various activities and performances planned to keep the crowd engaged throughout the event and free entrances for the spectators.

Colombo: Charith Asalanka (Capt), Avishka Fernando,Shevon Daniel,Krishan Sanjula ( WK) , Kavindu Nadeeshan, Nuwanidu Fernando, Himesh Ramanayake, Dasun Shanaka, Nishan Pieris, Dinura Kalupahana, Dilum Sudeera, Promod Madushan, Nipun Dhananjaya, Vishad Randika, Ashen Bandara.
Dambulla: Bhanuka Rajapaksa (Capt), Lasith Croospulle, Pulindu Perera,Pavan Ratnayake,Sonal Dinusha, Chamindu Wijesinghe, Dushan Hementha, Moving Subasinghe, Lakshan Sandakan, Murvin Abinash, Ranesh Silva ( WK), Gayana Weerasinghe, Kevin Perera, Muhammad Shiraz, Duvindu Ranathunga.
Galle: Dunith Wellalage (Capt), Yashoda Lanka ,Oshada Fernando, Pasindu Sooriyabandara,Sohan de Livera (WK) Ravindu Rashantha, Dhananjaya Lakshan, Nimesh Vimukthi, Malsha Tharupathi, Thilanga Udeshana, Shiran Fernando, Dinuka Dilshan, Akila Dhananjaya, Mudith Lakshan.
Kandy: Niroshan Dikwella (Capt), Kamil Mishara, Lahiru Udara,( WK) , Thanuka Dabare , Chamod Sandaru ,Sahan Arachchige,Ahan Wickrmasinghe,Wanuja Sahan,Chamika Karunaratne,Chamika Gunasekara, Lasith Embuldeniya, Ashian Daniel, Yohan Meddage, Nimsara Atharagalla, Nipun Randika.
