Engineers warn of power cuts!
The Ceylon Electrical Engineers’ Association (CEEA) warns that there is a risk of 5 hour power cuts being imposed due to the hydro power crisis and a generator at the Norochcholai power plant having broken down.
Its President Anil Ranjith Induwara said this during a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday (04).
The Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said on the 03rd that it will take another five days to restore the faulty generator at Norochcholai.
