The privatization of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) does not pose a threat to national security, former Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) Prof. Rohan Samarajiva said.
Joining the ‘101 Katha’ program organized by the President’s Media Division (PMD), Prof. Samarajiva said the report of the Parliamentary Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security lacks a professional study and contradicts the standards set by the Sectoral Oversight Committee.
