Local council election 2023 : Notice from Election Commission
The Sri Lanka Election Commission has issued a statement in response to the recent Supreme Court ruling, which declared the delay in holding the Local Council Elections a violation of fundamental rights.
The Commission acknowledged the court’s judgement and affirmed its commitment to conducting the elections as soon as possible.
