Veteran singer Tony Hassan passes away
Veteran singer Tony Hassan passed away at the age of 73, family sources said.
He rose to popularity with his renditions of Hindi songs over a span of five decades. To his credit are several original Sinhala songs including a duet with late veteran singer Sujatha Aththanayaka.
According to family sources, the final rites will be held at the Maligawatta Muslim Burial Ground this evening.
