TOURIST ARRIVALS SURPASSES 100,000 PER MONTH MARK A BOOST FOR THE INDUSTRY

Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka has surpassed the 100,000 per month mark, the Ministry of Tourism reported.

The Ministry said that tourist arrivals has surpassed the 100,000 per month mark for the first time after 2 years.

A total of 101,192 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka as at 29 March 2022, the Ministry said.

The Ministry added that a total of 280,027 tourists have arrived in the country for 2022 so far.
