National People’s Power (NPP) Executive Committee Member – MP Vijitha Herath has pointed out that even if NPP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake became the President, the country’s crisis ridden economy cannot be magically turned around immediately.

He said this during a recent programme.

“We have a difficult journey ahead. We have to make sacrifices and cut down unnecessary expenses…,” he has said.
