University Counsellor falls to her death
An Assistant Counsellor from the Agriculture faculty of the University of Peradeniya died after falling down a precipice of 300 feet.
The deceased was identified as 27 year old Wirasmi Kodithuwakku of Elpitiya.
The police said that she was with a group of university students who were climbing the Soora Saradiyel mountain in Mawanella this morning when she slipped and fell to her death.
