Ranil urges youngsters to post their views on current situation
Former Prime minister – Ranil Wickremesinghe has issued a special statement with regard to the present situation of the country.
He notes that he has ‘presented several proposals that Parliament would take over the financial powers and work together with the Cabinet and the youth.’
“We can not postpone this issue. This issue should be resolved in this Parliament itself, there is no time to hold elections,” he adds.
“From there we proposed to bring public finances under Parliament and to appoint 6 Committees to oversee financial matters and implement them,” he further notes.
