Youth dies from train accident
A youth has died in a train accident at the Matara railway station last night (17).
He has fallen into the gap between the train and the railway platform while attempting to get onto the Sagarika train leaving to Beliatta.
Rescue attempts took over an hour. The deceased youth has been identified as 23 year old Roosara Vithanage from Dickwella, who was employed at a private financial institute in Matara
